YOYO Bassinet or Newborn Pack?

Should I choose the Newborn Pack or the Bassinet for my Babyzen YOYO setup?
If your baby is under six months old, Babyzen offers two options to choose from. The decision is simple, and it mainly depends on how you plan to use your Babyzen YOYO. In this article, we’ll help you decide which option suits your needs best.
Newborn Pack The Newborn Pack creates a cozy, secure environment for your baby, allowing them to lie flat, face you, and stay safe with the 5-point harness.
One key benefit of the Newborn Pack (and the main reason you might choose it over the bassinet) is that you can fold the YOYO with the Newborn Pack still attached. This makes it an ideal choice for parents who want to travel with their baby under six months. It’s cabin-approved for air travel, lightweight, and easy to fold for public transport use.
You might also opt for the Newborn Pack if you're limited on space and want the convenience of a pram that can be folded and stored without the need to remove parts.
Bassinet Introduced by Babyzen in 2020, the Bassinet provides a more structured option for parents who prefer to attach and detach the bassinet from the stroller frame easily, or even carry the bassinet separately. The hard shell design makes it sturdier than the Newborn Pack and offers the added benefit of being able to use it independently as a separate carrycot when needed.
If you plan to use the YOYO as your primary stroller, the bassinet offers the highest level of comfort for daily use.
